Artist Yiming Wang has a longing for the poetic and the afar. His ten visits to Tibet over the last ten years
accumulated in him a strong identification with the spiritual. This identification formed into a conception of
nature that stresses the importance of harmony between humans and the environment, an importance
as firm as religion. Such is the theme of his creative work ‘Flags’--- the experience of the depth of the
wavering heart amid the tension between the movements of the wind and the movements of the flags.
